Top 5 Burgers for Summer

Burgers. They’re one of the best parts about summer. You fire up the grill, invite a few friends over and there you have it – an impromptu summer celebration.

We love a classic burger – topped with cheese, ketchup, and of course, pickles – but this week we’re itching to share our top finds for burgers with a twist. From shrimp burgers to rajma veggie burgers to bison burgers, we’ve got you covered with these recipes no matter what mood you’re in.

  1. The Garden Bison Burger

Pickles taste great on top of a burger, but what about putting them inside? Well, that’s exactly what our friends at Chasing Delicious did with their Garden Bison Burger. The result? Delicious.

  1. Filet-O-Fish Burger

Fries and burgers. They go hand in hand, of course. So what if you put the fries on top of the burger? And what if that burger was a fish filet? Well it would be a magnificent explosion of flavor, just like our friends at I am a Food Blog showed us. Top it with a homemade pickle tartar sauce, and you’re good to go.

  1. Shrimp Burgers

Clearly, seafood-based burgers are a summer hit, so we found one more we just had to share. Homemade Shrimp Burgers from The Domesticated Wolf. We’ll take two, please!

  1. Rajma Veggie Burgers with Relish

Bored with your veggie burgers? Kick it up a notch by adding rajma, an Indian kidney bean curry, like ABCDs of Cooking did with this great recipe. Paired with a corn and pickle relish, and topped with feta, you have a summer-y burger your friends will be dying to try!

  1. A Burger Bar

The best way to make sure everyone’s happy with their burger? Have them build it! We love this burger bar idea from Completely Delicious that features assorted cheeses, condiments, and toppings.  Build. Eat. Repeat.
